Application in prescribed proforma are invited for the post of Senior Section Officer (Accounts), Accounts Assistant, Finger Printer Examiner from the retired Railway Accounts staff only for re-engagement on monthly remuneration basis for the office of PFA, Northern Railway, Baroda House New Delhi. The scheme for re-engagement of retired Railway staff is up to 01.12.2019. The staff selected can be posted anywhere in the office of PFA, Northern Railway, Boarda House, New Delhi Terms and conditions, eligibility criteria rate of monthly remuneration and the Prescribed Proforma etc. are available on official website. Eligibility for the applicant
All the retired (Railway Accounts) employees who have not achieved 64 years 6 months on the last day prescribed for submission of application (to ensure at least Six Months service is available after re-engagement) for re-engagement purpose will be eligible for re-engagement.
Remuneration
The monthly remuneration shall be as follows: 9300-34800
Period of Engagement
The maximum age limit for re-engagement will be 65 years or validity of the scheme of Re-engagement of retired employee or on joining of selected candidate from RRB/R1W/Department selection or in case of unsatisfactory service whichever is earlier or as governed by the instructions issued by Ministry of Railways from time to time. The re-engagement of retired staff can be terminated by the Department/office at any time without assigning any reason thereof. However, retired staff will be given 7 (Seven) Days advance notice, or remuneration in liey thereof before termination from the re-engagement. The present scheme of re-engagement of re-engagement of retired employees is up to 01.12.2019 unless extended further by Railway Board.
About Northern Railway
The Northern Railway is one of the 17 Railway zones of India and the northernmost zone of the Indian Railways. Its headquarter is New Delhi Baroda House near India Gate. Officially notified as a new railway zone on 14 April 1952, its origin goes back to 3 March 1859. On 14 April 1952, the Northern Railway zone was created by merging Jodhpur Railway, Bikaner Railway, Eastern Punjab Railway and three divisions of the East Indian Railway north-west of Mughalsarai (Uttar Pradesh). On 3 March 1859, Allahabad-Kanpur, the first passenger railway line in North India was opened, which falls under Northern Railway zone. In 1864, a broad gauge track from Calcutta to Delhi was laid. In 1864, the railway line between Old Delhi and Meerut City railway station was constructed. Meerut Cantt railway station was established by British India government around 1865 after the sepoy mutiny of 1857.
Eligibility Criteria
The retired employee should have normally superannuated as Railway Accounts employee of the same category. He/she compulsory voluntary 1 year retired/removed/ terminated from service etc. and should be free from Vigilance/SPE or departmental proceedings at the time of retirement. He/she should not have an police case at the time of re-engagement. He/she shall submit copy of Pensioner Identity card, PPO, service certificate and an Affidavit duly notarized declaring is pending against him/her at the time of re-engagement along with the application. ACRs for the period up to years preceding his/her retirement will be considered. ACRs should have at least been graded as ‘Very Good’ before retirement. He/She should be medically fit for the category for which applying and Medical fitness certificate for the appropriate category should be obtained from the designated railway medical officer and submitted at Accounts Department. Retired employees being re-engaged should not have been covered under LARGESS scheme of the Indian Railways. Minimum required qualification as prescribed in Annexure-I

The PFA, Baroda House. Northern Railway, New Delhi. Latest by 28.02.2019 through registered post only. The administration shall not be responsible for delay of the dak. Application received after 1800 hours of 28/02/2019 will not be entertained.
