Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka, is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility  of implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Bangalore. BMRCL invites applications from qualified and experienced personnel to work in the Finance & Accounts Division of the Company.All appointments proposed will be on “contract basis” only.

The maximum age limit for the posts of Assist ant Manager and Manager is 40 years, and for Asst. General Manager the maximum age limit is 45 years.Persons retired from Govt. / PSUs having requisite qualification and experience may also apply

Vacancy Notification 15 Manager and Assistant Manager vacancy recruitment in BMRC

Conditions:
1.Candidates who have been shortlisted will only be called for interview.
2.Prescribed qualifications are the minimum requirements and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
3.The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right to be called for interview / selection.
4.Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/appointment shall be a disqualification.
5.Selection will be through Interview by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority

Job Profile:
Assistant General Manager:
a)Vet draft tender documents including bill of quantities, commercial and financial terms  etc. to evaluate adherence to applicable rules and regulations besides reasonability.
b)Check compliance to KTPP Act / CVC guidelines before communicating financial concurrence for the proposal.
c)Scrutiny of contractor’s bills mainly to check compliance with contractual terms and conditions, evidence of reimbursement claimed, checking of BOQ rates, budgetary provisions etc.
d)Maintenance of details of contracts for MIS purposes

Manager:
BMRCL Finance & Accounts currently uses ERP package (custom built) and looks for an enterprising candidate to constantly upgrade, maintain and integrate the package with other
departments / divisions including General Consultants for automated work flow systems and controls with an objective of reducing file movements with overall objective of making this paper less work flow system. Major roles and responsibilities include:
a)Day to day coordination and monitoring of ERP system.
b)Creation of suitable dash board to report on major parameters not only to serve as MIS but also ensure faster decision making process.
c)Development of adequate controls and procedures for system generated reminders for accounts receivables and payables mainly for corrective action
d)Daily MIS on expenditure for budgetary control purposes and development of suitable template thereof.

Asst. Manager (F&A):
a)Assisting in checking of Contractors bills (Running Bills) with terms and conditions of the  contract and other applicable statutory provisions before recommending for payment.
b)Checking and assisting in filing of all tax returns as per the statutory  requirement, on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly compliance.
c)Assisting in updating of ERP system and integration of the same with other departments / divisions of BMRCL
