Qualification and Experience
Graduate in any discipline having total experience of at least 25 (Twenty Five) years in Railways or its PSUs or in Railway and its PSUs put together. Candidate must have attained at least SA Grade in Railways or should be an Executive Director in Schedule ‘A’ PSU or a Director in Schedule ‘B’ PSU

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing the affairs of SPVs/Companies/JVs on PPP mode concerned with one or more of the following functions i.e. Railway Planning, Construction, Financing, Marketing and Commercial and Operation & Maintenance.
Bharuch Dahej Railway Company Limited (BDRCL) is a Joint Venture Company of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, Gujarat Maritime Board, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertiliser Company Limited, Dahej SEZ Limited, AdaniPetronet (Dahej) Port Pvt. Limited, Jindal Rail Infrastructure Limited and Hindalco Industries Limited. Bharuch Dahej Railway Company Limited is looking for a suitable incumbent for the post of Managing Director. The position entails strong people management, coordination skills, good communication and interpersonal skills along with problem identification/solving and focus on continuous improvement and innovation to ensure superior and customer focused result at optimal cost. The candidate should be capacity builder with a record demonstrated leadership, strategic and creative thinking collaborative development, and with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously with a range of key stakeholders in the Railway Sector.

Duration of contract: He will be appointed on contract for a period of three years or up to attaining the age of 65 years whichever is early. Appointment will not be considered on deputation basis.
Vacancy Notification Managing Director in Bharuch Dahej Railway Company
Salary: He will be paid gross emoluments of Rs. 175000/- p.m.
Annual increment will be Rs. 30000/-.
The telephone, internet and mobile communication will be actual subject to maximum of Rs. 1 lakh per annum.
He will be entitled to the facility of staff car. Recovery @ Rs. 2000/- p.m. would be made against this facility for personal use.
No other allowances or perquisites will be given.

Location: The office of the MD would be located at Regd. Office of the Company at New Delhi.
The candidate has to submit his willingness for the post at the time of interview itself, clearly stating that he/she will join the post, if selected. If any candidate does not initially give his/ her willingness, he /she will not be interviewed. The selected candidate will have to join within one month of issue of letter of appointment. Serving officer shall submit NOC of employer at the time of interview.
