1) In case of Deputation:
- The deputation shall be initially for a period of three years that can be extended, on year to year basis for a further period of four years, if required, considering exigencies of services.
- The terms and conditions of deputation as stipulated in DOP&T OM.No.6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010 will be applicable. The CDA employees on deputation will be entitled to draw parent cadre pay + usual deputation allowance. In addition they will be entitled for transport allowance as applicable in parent cadre, perks & allowances as applicable to deputationists in RailTel.
- The IDA employees can exercise option for parent cadre pay & allowances or the pay & allowances of the deputation post, as per rules of GOI.
- The employees on deputation will be entitled for leased accommodation. They will have the option to choose either RailTel Medical attendance benefits or to continue Medical attendance benefits of his/her parent department.
- In case of Absorption: Pay and allowances and other benefits will be as per rules of RailTel.
- In case of Departmental candidates: Selection will be treated as promotion and all promotional benefits will be admissible. Note: The Company follows the IDA structure of pay scale for its regular employees. Besides perks & allowances, as per notified DPE guidelines, the Company also pays Performance Related Pay based on the Annual Profit and Incremental Profits etc.
