Applications are invited for the 02 [two] Group ‘C’ posts in PB- (1) Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 against Cultural Quota for Headquarter of East Central Railway, Hajipur in the following discipline:

Educational Qualification

[i]     Matriculation with 50% marks and its equivalent or Higher Education.

[ii]   Possession of degree/diploma/certificate in concerned discipline from Government recognized Institute.

Desirable

[a]    Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.

[b]   Prizes won at National Level.

Age

18 to 30 years [age will reckoned on 01.01.2014]

[Upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for Physically Challenged Person.]

Examination Fees

The Examination fee for recruitment against Cultural Quota in Group ‘C’ will be Rs. 40/- (Rs. Forty) through Indian Postal Order only. Date of issue of Indian Postal Order should not be before the date of issue of this Employment Notice.

(i)                   All Women Candidates, SC & ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with 40% or above Disabilities, Minority (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zorastrians {Parsis}) are fully exempted from examination fees.

(ii)                 Economically Backward Class candidates, whose family income is less than Rs. 50,000 per annum are also fully exempted from examination fees.

(They have to produce income certificate on letter head in the prescribed format as given in annexure. )

Indian Postal Order should be pledged in favour of ‘FA & CAO, East Central Railway and payable at Hajipur. Examination fee will not be refundable in any circumstace.

How & whom to apply?

The given format should be neatly typed or hand written either in Hindi or English with one Passport size photograph to be pasted [duly signed] on the application form and two passport size photographs duly signed at back side should be clipped along the application form. Application should be sent to Sr. Personnel Officer /Recruitment., Office of the Chief Personnel Officer, East Central Railway, Hajipur, Distt.-Vaishali (Bihar) PIN- 844101 so as to reach on or before 02.12.02013 and for candidate of Andman & Nikobar on or before 16.12.2013 by ordinary post or to be dropped in the application box provided for the purpose in above office up to 18.00 Hrs. on or before the date mentioned above. No receipt at the counter will be given.

No application will be accepted after the closing date for whatever reason, neither any enclosure received separately after the receipt of application will be connected there with.

Enclosures: The following enclosures should be properly attached with the application :

(a)               Postal Order of Rs. 40/– (Rs. Forty) only in favour of ‘FA&CAO, East Central Railway, and payable at Hajipur‘.

(b)              Necessary proof for claiming fees exemptions.

(c)               Self attested Xerox Copies of certificates in support of age, educational qualification and participation certificate in Cultural Activities for their eligibility as mentioned above.

(d)              Self attested Xerox Copy of Caste Certificate in case of SC / ST candidates, For OBC candidates, current non-creamy layer certificate of current year (for Central Government Service) issued by the competent authority should be enclosed.

(e)               Three similar recent passport size photographs duly signed. One of them, should be pasted on the application and two photographs are to be attached with the application.

Procedure for recruitment

Selection will be conducted through written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and testimonials/Prizes etc. The mode of selection, date, venue and time will be intimated to the eligible candidate by post.
